Here's what's been planned – some firm, some tentative. More suggestions welcome...

Saturday August 9

Lunch at Portmahomack: Meet at 12 noon at the Tarbat Discovery Centre. Lunch at the cafe, Carnegie Hall, Main Street - light lunches, home-made soup, scones. Lily's booked for 12-14based on who's said they're coming. Please let Lily know if you intend to come to lunch by email lilygobha@btinternet.com

Tarbat Discovery Centre: After lunch Lesley and I (and anyone else) will revisit the Tarbat Discovery Centre for a look at the fascinating early history of the area...that I certainly knew nothing about when we lived there! And there's even an exhibition about the RAF in Tain.

Dinner (from 6pm): Royal Hotel for drinks, dinner and party time. Chance for a good natter and a few drinks and even a song or two perhaps. There are a few of us staying at the Hotel so don't plan for an early night!

Sunday August 10

Leisurely lunch somewhere nearby. We'll probably sort that out on Saturday night. Last time we lunched at the Meikle Ferry Inn (which I recall didn't open till about 1pm). Other options include... trip to Cromarty, or anything else you'd like to do??
