Planning for the second TRA reunion (class of 59/60 and friends) is well underway –thanks, Lily– with at about 33 confirmed attendees at the Royal Hotel for Saturday 9 August 2008, and a few more probables yet to be finalised. Please let us know ASAP if you can come (the hotel apparently needs to know numbers well in advance). There will be a relaxing program of activities for the weekend for those who want to linger longer. Again, if you could let us know if you'll be joining us for these? Will this be as good as the 2002 reunion? Up to us... Who's coming and who's not? As at July 30, there were about 33 of us (including partners/spouses/carers) committed to attend, all being well. Lily's done a grand job rustling up people in our class (and earlier) who left before 1959/60. You can see the ever changing list here. Updates to their stories will appear on later pages. Some of the recent additions to the list have provided photos, here. Regrettably, some of our colleagues aren't able to make it this year, for a variety of extremely valid resaons. The ones who have said they are not coming are here.And there are still some who have not yet said anything...I think they're waiting for the perfect moment to declare their intent. And unfortunately, some who were coming, now aren't. Please keep us up to date with your plans and your thoughts. Now that this website is launched I should be able to keep it up to date relatively easily. The old website is still there, but is no longer maintainable - it was created in software that is no longer available, so it remains frozen in time, a relic of the past and a reminder of the pace of change! Weekend Plans We have cunningly picked Tain Golf Week for the reunion, which means the town will be busy (well...) and if you're into golf, go do it! For the rest of us, there will be an excursion to the wilds of Portmahomack on Saturday, and something exciting (yet to be determined) on Sunday. Details here. More news as it emerges...

Summary TRA School reunion, class of 1959/60 and friends: Saturday 9 August 2008 Royal Hotel Tain, meet 6pm for drinks, dinner at 7pm followed by party/ceilidh Accommodation is tight in Tain that week so book early Saturday 9 plans - meet 12 noon Tarbat Discovery Centre, then lunch cafe, Carnegie Hall, Portmahomack, then revisit Tarbat discovery centre, then relax before dinner Sunday 10 plans - lunch somewhere nearby
