Another reunion in Oz(From Gay Russell, 13 April 2005)
Hi Mike and fellow academicians,
Have just had great reunion
with Isobel and Allan. Allan has just retired and they are on
a month's holiday in Australia (though unable to make it to Perth
on this trip, Mike). We spent the day and evening with them on
Sunday before they took off along the Great Ocean Road. Fortunately
we are having one of the hottest Aprils on record and the temp.
has been in the mid 20ies - mid 30ies so they are seeing Victoria
at its best. It was fantastic to see them again after (I can hardly
believe), 45 years. Needless to say, quite a bit of time was spent
reminiscing. Here is a photo taken that evening.
